Network error 500

Hi!

I bought G100 last week and used it for couple days without any problems. Then I had to unplug it since was about to move its location, but now when trying to reconnect to it, the App says Network error 500 and the device shows yellow stable light for a moment when in power cable, then for a bit blue light starts flashing and then nothing…

Im logged in to the same account, but could there be something Im missing since I did the “lock” option so no one else could add this camera than me? But now I cant? Tried the QR and manually typed the pairing numbers but it keeps saying that Device cannot be found… maybe due to the Network error 500?

I have tried to have my phone wifi in both 5G (i know it doesnt support it but still tried), 2G too, rebooted my wifi/wlan machine but nothing… even deleted the Aqara home app but no works…

Is there anything I can do? Did I disconnect the device wrong (I just unplugged it)?

Hi and welcome.

Did you disable the LED light in the app? If so, the camera has probably connected successfully. If not, it looks a bit like a power supply issue. Have you tried swapping the power adapter?

What exactly do you mean by that? Did you just move it to a different spot in the apartment, and is it still on the same Wi-Fi network and the same AP? Also, is the Wi-Fi signal strong enough at the new location?

Have you tried performing a network reset? You just need to long press the reset key for 10 seconds to reset the network.

Hi!

Yes I have the LEDs disabled but thought they were back ON since I saw those two colored LEDs  I use the same adapter I had in previous spot too where the camera worked, also tested it with my phone and it charges succesfully…

Just a different spot in same apartment, like less than 1 meter away from original, WIFIs etc are the same. Id like to think WIFI is strong enough in the new spot too since its even closer to the WIFI than previously and phone works perfect.

Yes I tried to reset the WIFI and even plugged the cables from the closet where internet comes from for a few seconds (10+) with no success…

Hello, welcome to the forum. My algorithm.

  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Reboot the router.
  3. Hold the camera button for 10 seconds.
  4. Re-add the WiFi network for G100.

Hi all!

Managed to get Aqara home to find my device, knock knock read the manual and tried the “press 10 times to factory reset” and it worked like a charm! All is good for now!
