Network NAS connection lost

I wanted to try to set my E1 camera to point to another NAS device. I could not modify the location so I deleted the NAS link. When I returned to try to get to another drive / NAS it would not let me attach so I then wanted to go back to the original. When I opened the NAS connection the original location was not listed. I then tried to factory reset the device to start over but now there are no NAS drives listed.
How can I get back the NAS list so I can make the connection for video storage?

Which NAS brand are you using? I experienced a similar issue. I assigned permissions to IP addresses in the NAS settings and also enabled read and write access for the saved folder. I noticed that this option is not automatically enabled when creating a folder. My device is a QNAP.

I am using a NAS from Buffalo I think it is a 220 drive. I believe since I got a new router today and the tech set me us as a guest user to access the 2.4 g signal there are limitations on accessing stuff like the NAS. I need to wait till the router shows up in their system then I can break out the normal 2.4 g signal and hopefully make my E1 connections again.

In a guest WiFi there are normally some restrictions as for instance that devices cannot see each other. That is called client isolation and prevents seeing and accessing your NAS.

That was conclusion remembering what the tech said in passing about the guest account. So hopefully it will all be a nightmare in the past after their system updates.
Thanks for your input.

Had NAS running for quite a while. However, with the new updates of the Aqara app I cannot connect my devices to the NAS device, there seems to be a vital issue with the input of the password. It simply does not work and all of my 8 aqara cams cannot store data on the NAS.

I would recommend Aqara offers a dialog there I can input the data manually: (a) the server address/share, (b) the user name, (c) the password.

All without AI. Please.
