I’ve been looking forward to Aqara releasing a replacement to the T1 LED Strip that’s more advanced, more aligned with the competition and less plug and play focused.

Features I’d like to have seen would have been full RGBWW with Zigbee and Matter / Thread support, using a power driver rather than a standard plug (allows for wiring where a plug isn’t possible) and no built in BIG connector plugs and controller near the strip.

The LED Strip T2 seems to just offer 3 different white colours (3 different strips!) and works with the Aqara LED Strip Driver T1.

Very strange product to release.

Thoughts?

I think what you’re referring to is the Aqara T1/H2 COB strip on AliExpress? Maybe what’s being announced is a different product?
