I’m new to Aqara (I use HomeKit) but I’ve just bought the g5 pro camera / hub, the H2 (EU) 2 switch/1 gang wall switch.
I’ve wired the switch up and it works, but it only turns on/off the ceiling light when I -press the ‘top’ button, pressing the ‘bottom’ button does nothing. I can’t see how to change this so it works like a regular wall switch.
Also, how do you delete a dashboard in the Aqara home app on iPadOS? In adding the two units it’s made a dashboard for each. 9 can’t see any way of deleting either/both of them (not talking about the ‘global dashboard’ which you can’t delete)
@zoe_summers Hello and welcome to the Aqara community! Let’s tackle your concerns one by one.
For the Aqara Light Switch H2 EU (2 Buttons, 1 Channel), it seems like the switch might be set up to control a single channel, which is why only the top button is functioning. According to the reference information, the switch is designed to operate in this manner with one channel, meaning both buttons might not independently control separate lights unless configured differently through the app or specific settings. You might want to explore the “Button Operations” to reset or reconfigure the switch if needed:
Single press: Turn On/Off
Double press, then press and hold for 5 seconds within 3 seconds: Reset the Device/Enable Pairing
Press any button 10 times continuously: Reset to factory settings
For your second question on deleting a dashboard in the Aqara Home app on iPadOS, unfortunately, the reference information doesn’t provide specific steps for dashboard deletion. This might be a feature limitation, or the option could be buried within the app settings. I recommend checking the app’s help section or reaching out to support for app-specific queries.

Hi Zoe,welcome to our forum, you can use the bottom button to set up some automation or execute a specific scene, such as turning off all the lights in the house with the Single press,or opening the curtains with a Double press.
