I’m Josh from Florida, USA. I’ve been building smart homes for several years and currently run a large Apple HomeKit and Matter-based setup.
My ecosystem includes Aqara, Meross, Eufy, Philips Hue, Apple TV, HomePod, and other Matter-compatible devices. I enjoy testing new hardware, firmware updates, and integrations and providing detailed feedback based on real-world use.
I have experience troubleshooting device connectivity, Matter onboarding, HomeKit automations, and cross-platform smart home setups. I also have previous experience participating in beta testing programs and enjoy helping identify issues before products are released.
What excites me most about Aqara is the company’s focus on HomeKit, Matter, and local automation. I’m particularly interested in testing new hubs, sensors, cameras, and smart home integrations in a mixed-device environment.
I’d be happy to provide detailed feedback, bug reports, screenshots, and automation examples to help improve future Aqara products.
