No Notification when the Doorbell rings on my iPhone

Hello everyone,

I installed the Aqara G410 yesterday. So far everything works quite well. Unfortunately, I don’t receive any notification when someone rings the doorbell. My wife and my son, however, immediately get a notification on their phones when the doorbell rings.

From the Aqara app, I receive the notification about 10 minutes later, and only if the app is open.

What could be causing this? I have checked all the settings and enabled notifications everywhere.

Unfortunately notifications can sometimes be delayed due to the fact that they are received in the background. This means, that the phone’s OS just might decide it won’t check for new notifications as often.

Or sometimes, there may be some problems on Google/Apple servers that cause the notifications to be delayed (as all notifications all sent through the servers of the OS manufacturer).

You can try checking if disabling any power or mobile data saving options helps. Reinstalling the app can also help.

Hello new friend,

Please provide your phone type (Android/iOS), model and system version, app version number, which country your doorbell is bound to, and your Aqara Home account for me, or contact Aqara official customer service(support@aqara.com) , so that we can check the reason for the delay in notification push.

Please confirm one thing first, whether you have never received messages in a time or occasionally do not receive messages.

I haven’t received any notification at all on my iPhone 16 yet. My wife’s iPhone 12 and my son’s iPhone 13 Pro get a notification immediately when someone rings the doorbell. I even receive a notification on my Apple Watch 5. Only my iPhone 16 doesn’t.

I don’t think this has anything to do with the phone model. Please provide me with your Aqara Home account and the time of the last ring button incident.
