Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experiences with Node-RED and the Govee AI Sync Box 2. While I’ve been using Node-RED for a while now, I recently encountered some issues that had me puzzled for a bit. Let me walk you through what happened and how I resolved it, as well as share my thoughts on the Govee product I’ve been experimenting with.
First, the Node-RED issue. I noticed that some of my flows were throwing errors related to entity not found. Specifically, the errors were pointing to input_boolean entities that I knew existed. At first, I thought it might be a configuration issue, but after double-checking everything, I realized the problem was with how the entities were being referenced in the flows. I ended up having to manually restart Node-RED a few times, and eventually, the errors subsided. I’m still not entirely sure what caused the issue, but it seems like a temporary glitch in the system. If anyone else has experienced similar problems, I’d love to hear how you resolved them!
On a more positive note, I’ve been playing around with the Govee AI Sync Box 2, and I have to say, I’m really impressed. The ability to sync the lighting effects with movies and music is fantastic, and the color accuracy is spot on. I tried it out with Squid Games and was blown away by how well the lighting matched the on-screen action. The app integration is smooth, and the setup process was straightforward. My only minor complaint is that the music sensor isn’t as sensitive as I’d hoped, but that’s a minor quibble compared to the overall performance.
If you’re looking for a way to enhance your home theater experience, I highly recommend giving the Govee AI Sync Box 2 a try. It’s been a great addition to my setup, and I can’t wait to see what other features they come up with in the future.
As for Node-RED, I’m still exploring its capabilities and am excited to dive deeper into creating more complex flows. If anyone has any tips or best practices for working with Node-RED, I’d love to hear them!
