OAuth 2.0 returns INVALID redirect_uri after the June 16 update — how do you register one now?

Hi,

How do you register a redirect_uri for OAuth 2.0 now?

Calling the authorize endpoint fails before the login page loads:

{"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"INVALID redirect_uri"}

The June 16, 2026 console notice says custom redirect_uri configuration is no longer supported and that you have to contact technical support to apply for access permission. I emailed support@aqara.com and was referred to the pre-sales team, so I’m not sure this is the right channel.

Has anyone registered a redirect_uri since June 16? Where is the actual request submitted, and how long does it take?

Our project is on the Korea service region, created in 2021 (approved). Happy to share the appId privately if needed.|

@mhcho You seem to be experiencing an issue with OAuth 2.0 authorization failing due to an INVALID redirect_uri after the June 16 update, and you’re trying to figure out where to submit the new access/redirect URI request and what the timeline is.

At the moment, the reference info available here doesn’t include any developer-console/OAuth-specific process or the June 16 policy change details, so I can’t reliably tell you the new official submission path or SLA from community docs alone.

If you want, share (publicly) whether this is a web redirect URI vs a custom scheme redirect URI, and whether you’re using the Korea region account in the same environment as the client app—sometimes region/account mismatches cause odd auth behavior, but I don’t want to guess without more specifics.
