[Official Announcement] Aqara Home App Crashing Issue on iOS (v6.3.7)

We have received reports from some iOS users that the Aqara Home app is crashing after updating to the latest version, 6.3.7. We are currently looking into this issue and working on a fix.

Here is a temporary solution for now:

  1. If you are using the LAN Control feature, please do not update to version 6.3.7 yet.
  2. If you are using the LAN Control feature and have already updated to version 6.3.7 and are experiencing crashes, please switch to mobile data, go to Settings, and turn off the LAN Control. Then switch back to Wi-Fi — the app should work normally again.

We will update this post once the issue is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The setting must be stored on the device, bot the cloud as I was able to do this on my iPhone but not WiFi only iPad.

To fix this on the iPad I had to hotspot onto the iPhone, then load the app and only then was it possible to turn off LAN Control. After going back into Wifi, the app then worked.
