I’ve recently set up an oil diffuser with ambient sound, and while it’s been a great addition to my home, I’m facing a small challenge with its automation. Currently, I have a schedule that turns the diffuser on for 15 minutes and then off. However, when the diffuser turns off, the ambient noise also stops, which is a bit disappointing. I’d love for the noise to continue playing even when the diffuser isn’t running.
Additionally, I’m trying to create a more flexible schedule where the diffuser runs for 5 minutes and then turns off for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, this requires creating multiple entries in the schedule, which feels a bit cumbersome.
If anyone has experience with similar setups or knows of a way to keep the ambient noise running independently of the diffuser, or has tips on simplifying the scheduling process, I’d be thrilled to hear your suggestions!
