My best experience with Aqara has definitely been switching to the FP300.
I used to have two separate motion sensors and a temperature/humidity sensor to handle my automations. Now I only need one FP300 to do all of it, because everything I need is built into a single device.
It has made my automations much simpler and cleaner. Looking back, I really wish I had discovered the FP300 earlier — it would have saved me from installing multiple separate sensors in the first place!

@jipdegroot Totally get this—FP300 is one of those devices that immediately declutters an automation setup.
What you described is basically the FP300’s sweet spot: it combines PIR + 60GHz mmWave for presence/motion sensing, and also includes light, temperature, and humidity sensors in the same unit—so it can genuinely replace separate motion + temp/humidity gear in a lot of rooms.
If you want to squeeze even more out of it (especially for “quiet presence” use cases like desk work or watching TV), Zigbee mode in Aqara Home gives you extra tuning options like adjusting detection range/mode, changing the absence delay timer, and even enabling/disabling individual sensors depending on the room.
Curious—what automations did you simplify the most after switching (lights, HVAC, or both)?
