Booth worked fine for 1,5 year. Just suddenly one of them disconnected.
Re-plugged, re-added several times, deleted from app, readded. Rebooted router, switched off 5GHz completely, used other USB cable, 2 other USB chargers. After re-adding 1 st seems okay, then no update on any movements, and app just tell “Network connection timeout suffered. Please check network connections” or similar. Then Blue-blinking light again, and greyed out from app. Sometimes comes back but still no function/connection.
Is there a hard-hard reset or emergency firmware update from PC wia USB cable?
If this unable to resolve, I won’t buy any Aqara device…have bunch of FP1E, those are unreliable as hell…E1 hub (bought just for these) literally 2 meters away, and have to re-plug weekly to work again.
I’ve also been using two FP2 presence sensors for 6 months, and I’ve encountered the same problem as you and tried similar methods as suggested. I still haven’t been able to resolve it. I constantly get networking errors and the FP2 sensors are rapidly blinking blue. I think with the latest update, the FP2 has become much more sensitive and fragile when it comes to WiFi.
Already ordered Everything Presence Pro…If those will be ok, then I step by step remove all Aqara FP2 devices.
Same here. I’ve already been in contact with Aqara Support about this. Did you also connect yours to the ‘soft sensor’ option right before it happened?
No I did not.
It’s absolutely wrong that we’re going through so much trouble and frustration for a sensor that promised so much. The money we paid for one could feed a child in Africa for 15 days. What you did is wrong; recall all FP2s and refund the money. Until this situation is resolved, I will not buy a single product from your brand. This is big wrong
