[Open Beta] Calling testers for the new Aqara LED Strip T2!

UPDATE
Beta test invitations have been sent to our selected testers! Please check your inbox—and your spam folder, just in case! We are incredibly grateful for the massive response from this community. Thank you all for your interest and patience. For those who didn’t make it into this phase, stay tuned for more testing opportunities!

Hey Aqara fam!

We’re super excited to announce our next open beta! This time, we’re bringing some colors to your smart home with the Aqara LED Strip T2.

What you need to know before applying

You MUST own and actively use an Aqara Hub M3. For this specific test, the M3 is the only supported hub.

Want to boost your chances?

We’d love it if you already have some experience with smart lighting (any brand is fine!) or if you have a solid setup of Matter/Aqara devices to help us test some cool cross-device automations.

Ready to light things up?

The application form only takes about 2-3 minutes.

:point_right: Sign-Up Here (Closed)

Quick heads-up: Filling out the form is an application, not a guaranteed spot. We’ll reach out to the selected testers privately after screening!

Good luck, and we can’t wait to read your applications! :hugs:

If you’re looking for someone to provide honest, unfiltered, and perhaps not-so-polite feedback on how these devices actually behave in a real environment (rather than just “lighting things up”), I’m your candidate

Are there plans for a UK version of this? I have several T1 LED strips and also run Phoscom which the UK store sell as “compliant” with Aqara as Aqara don’t offer more professional grade LED strip.

Since the original light was too bright, not dimmable, and not orange enough, I installed an Aqara light strip in the old Aqara Donut Lamp several years ago.

I left the original power supply and the original lamp (COB LED strip) in place so I could downgrade at any time.

I threaded the Aqara LED strip through the hole in the wall mount and then slightly raised the donut so it would sit flat again.

I also have one behind the couch to set the mood in the evening.

Love to test the new one.

M3 Hub for years, Location: Germany.

Thankl U @AqaraOfficial

I only have an M100 unfortunately. Will this new strip be matter over thread?
