Optimizing Home Monitor for Enhanced Security

I’ve been using Home Monitor with a mix of Fibaro motion sensors, Samsung water leak detectors, and smoke sensors. It’s been a reliable system, but I recently faced an issue with one of my motion sensors being triggered by my robot vacuum cleaner. After some research, I decided to switch to a Samsung Vision sensor for that specific area. The Samsung Vision sensor’s AI body detection feature was a game-changer—it only reacts to human movement, which significantly reduced false alarms.

However, I noticed that when I enabled the AI body detection mode in Home Monitor, it disabled the ability to use other motion sensors in my house. This was inconvenient, as I wanted to maintain a mix of sensors for different areas. I reached out to the community and discovered that others had faced similar issues. Some suggested that the Home Monitor app might need an update to allow both AI-enabled sensors and traditional motion sensors to coexist.

In the meantime, I’ve found a workaround by setting up zones in Home Monitor. I’ve designated specific zones for the Samsung Vision sensors and others for the traditional motion sensors. This way, I can still monitor all areas effectively without losing functionality. It’s a bit of a manual process, but it works for now.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has encountered this issue and how they’ve resolved it. Have you managed to combine Samsung Vision sensors with other motion sensors seamlessly? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated! :star2:
