Optimizing Multi-Split AC System with Custom Entities Card

Hey everyone, I’m trying to optimize my multi-split AC system setup in Home Assistant using the Custom Entities Card. I’ve successfully integrated my system with MelCloud, but I’m looking to streamline my interface. Currently, each room’s AC unit creates a separate entity, which works well with the thermostat card. However, managing multiple cards is a bit cumbersome.

What I’d love to achieve is a single card that combines the functionality of multiple AC units. Specifically, I want to:

  1. Hide the current temperature display since I’m not using the AC’s built-in sensors.
  2. Add a secondary button on the same row to switch the AC on/off with a single click.

I came across this example image that illustrates what I’m aiming for. It shows a clean, consolidated interface that groups multiple AC controls without clutter. I’m not sure if this is achievable with the current setup or if there’s a workaround I haven’t considered yet.

Has anyone tackled a similar project or has any insights on how to approach this? I’m open to suggestions or even pointing me toward relevant documentation or custom card examples. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your time and expertise!
