Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into optimizing my smart home setup lately, and I thought I’d share some of my experiences and tips! 
First off, I’ve been having a bit of fun with my smart cameras. I recently noticed that one of my cameras stopped working with batteries—it only turns on when plugged in. After a lot of troubleshooting, I realized it might be a hardware issue. If anyone else is experiencing this, I’d love to hear if you’ve found a solution or workaround! 
On the automation front, I’ve been experimenting with creating a system to notify me when my dishwasher finishes. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’ve set up an input_select to track the dishwasher’s status. Now, I’m curious if there’s a more efficient way to handle this, maybe with a single automation instead of multiple ones. Any suggestions would be awesome! 
Another thing I’ve been exploring is the use of smart plugs for my holiday lights. I stumbled upon an issue where the lights wouldn’t fully turn off with the Shelly PLUG S. After some research, I found that ensuring the firmware is up to date helps, but I’m still curious if others have encountered similar problems or have tips for a fix. 
Lastly, I’ve been impressed with the versatility of Govee’s Pole Lamp. It’s so much fun to experiment with the preset scenes—they really add a festive touch to any room! If anyone has their own favorite scenes or tips for getting the most out of their lamps, I’d love to hear about them.
