Optimizing ZigBee Sensor Performance for Consistent Reporting

I’ve been experimenting with the Sonoff ZigBee Mini Temperature and Humidity Sensor, and while it’s a fantastic device, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in its reporting. I’m using it to monitor temperatures and control my ceiling fans via Hubitat, but sometimes the temperature readings are sporadic, which affects the automation flow. I reached out to Sonoff support, and they suggested the issue might lie with my gateway setup.

I have two Hubitats—one for ZigBee lights and another for everything else. Could the choice of gateway be affecting the sensor’s performance? I’ve tried resetting the sensor and ensuring it’s on the correct network, but the problem persists. I’d love to hear if others have encountered similar issues or have tips for optimizing sensor performance.

On a positive note, when the sensor does report, it’s incredibly accurate, and the integration with Hubitat is seamless. I’m hopeful that with some tweaking, I can get consistent readings and fully leverage this device for my smart home setup. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
