I recently dove into setting up my smart home ecosystem, and I wanted to share my journey with the OpenThread Border Router (OTBR) addon and integrating my Tado X thermostat with a Vaillant boiler. It was a bit of a challenge, but I learned a lot along the way!

I’m thrilled with how my setup turned out. The OTBR addon has made my Thread devices more reliable, and the Tado X integration with my Vaillant boiler has given me full control over my heating system. It’s a great feeling to have a seamless and efficient smart home setup!
