Is it only me when I read about the P100 that got excited and then let down. The window tilt/open function works pretty well but only inside the Aqara app. As soon as you connect it to another system like HomeKit you only get a single sensor. Why is it not two, one for each state? I was really looking forward to replace some old window magnet contactsensors but now I will just keep them.
Sad, I think it’s a missed opportunity. Just a suggestion to the developers.
Clearer feature compatibility information would help. With my U400, remote access worked through Apple Home while Aqara Home showed the lock as disconnected when I was away because I didn’t have an Aqara hub. Different products expose different features to each ecosystem, but that isn’t always obvious before setup. A table showing exactly which states and features are available through Apple Home would be useful.
I’m not entirely sure right now, but with a Matter signal, you should be able to receive the tilt status in Apple Home as a sensor reading.
