Provide update with option to rotate screen 180degrees. My electricity switch box has no space to mount the panel the left but sufficient space to mount it on the right of the switch box, so I must be able and mount Panel hub S1 plus 180 degrees rotated, but it seems screen is unable to flip 180 degrees. Even a child would have thought about this setting so it is universal for mounting in both directions.
@velizar90 I’m sorry to say that the Aqara Magic Pad S1 Plus screen currently doesn’t support orientation changes. I understand how important this feature would be for flexible installations like yours. Your feedback is valuable, and I encourage you to share more suggestions. Update please. Also the last update dis again not provide this very very simple but essential function. I am switching now to Sonoff NSPanel pro, much more user friendly…

Is there any update on this? I would need to rotate my panel 90 degrees clockwise as it needs to be mounted between a doorpost and a mirror.

In my case the only reason why I don’t already have the S1 plus. I don’t even need the 90° rotation, 180° would be enough.

The other thing I cannot understand is why Aqara doesn’t offer PoE version of this product. That would be so much better and more reliable device. Hopefully they might take that into account.
For this product, imo POE makes no sense - it is after all a wall switch so there is power in the socket back box.

Aqara products are fine at first glance, but when you start using them you realise that are not ready for prime time, this Panel hub s1 plus is being one example. Nice sleek looking panel but pretty useless in a Smart Home with lots of limitations.
And Aqara cannot push an update that would allow 90-180 degrees orientation change ?

True. Someone should 3D print an enclosure with a POE → USBC converter. It would still be wifi but at least it would be POE powered.
I disagree with that because it’s one of the most sensitive device in case of WiFi power signal. I had to totally change my network to make it work properly while at the same time I have PoE wire behind it 
I don’t see any issue in enabling powering by PoE and the way it is right now.
To be honest there is more chance aqara releases a new hardware version with POE than them adding a software feature to flip/rotate the screen in the S1. You will probably get you POE S2 before we get a usable S1.

What kind of wall mount are we talking about? Share the mounting options, except for the collective farm mount printed on a 3d printer, there is nothing on sale. It is very strange that there is no official fastener for the wall. I’m talking about the case when the The relay is not used and remains purely a USB-c powered tablet.
Its sad that 1 year later after its launch they still have not been able to do a software release to flip the screen.
