Philips Hue LED Strips Setup and Govee Product Experience

Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my recent experience setting up Philips Hue LED strips in my new home! :star2: After watching some videos and researching, I decided to go with the Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus to create a beautiful ceiling lighting effect. I’ve installed about 15 meters of strips, and the results are stunning! However, I’m still figuring out the best way to position them for an even color distribution. I’ve split them into two power sockets—one clockwise and the other counterclockwise—but I’m curious about the best starting point, especially near the TV. Any tips from experienced users would be greatly appreciated!

On another note, I’ve also been exploring Govee products, and I must say, they’ve been a game-changer for my outdoor lighting setup! :closed_umbrella: I recently installed their LED string lights, and they’ve completely transformed my patio. The ability to control each bulb individually through the Govee app is a huge plus. I’m now considering upgrading my flood lights as well. If anyone has tips on waterproofing or installation, I’d love to hear them!

Lastly, I’d like to mention my transition from Vera to Homey. While there have been some bumps along the way, especially with connectivity issues, I’m hopeful that Homey will become my go-to system. I’m still learning the ropes, but the potential is immense. Thanks to everyone who shares their knowledge and experiences—it truly helps us all create smarter homes! :bulb:
