Hello everyone,
I’m looking for help with a persistent audio issue on my Aqara G410 Doorbell. I consistently hear a background buzzing or hissing noise during both live view and recorded videos.
Key Details of the Problem:
- The noise is present during two-way talk and video playback.
- Crucially, the sound is physically emanating from the upper rear section of the doorbell unit itself. It is not just coming from the chime or my phone’s speaker.
- The issue occurs regardless of the power method. I have tested with both batteries and a hardwired connection with the same results.
My Setup Details:
- Firmware Version: 4.3.8_0016.0090
- The Firmware Version of the Doorbell: 4.3.8
- Radar Firmware Version: 1.0.6
- Thread Firmware Version: 0017
- Current Algorithm Version: 2.0.0
- MCU Firmware Version: 1.4.8
- Power Methods Tested: Both Battery and Hardwired
- Wi-Fi Connection: 2.4GHz
- Primary App Used: Aqara App
Troubleshooting Already Performed:
- Tested both power sources (battery and hardwired).
- The Aqara hub is located close to the doorbell to ensure a strong connection.
- The Wi-Fi signal strength is consistently stable and strong.
Evidence:
I have attached a short video clip where this background noise is clearly audible, as well as a photo of the doorbell.
Has anyone else experienced this specific physical buzzing sound? Could this be a hardware issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
