To make Aqara a single platform to use, it should support third party ZigBee devices

@andreas754 I see where you’re coming from! Having a unified platform is indeed the dream for many smart home enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the Aqara Hub currently doesn’t support third-party ZigBee devices. However, Aqara is making strides in this area by integrating Matter support. You can connect certain third-party Matter devices to the Aqara Home app, which might just open up some exciting possibilities for expanding your smart home setup. For those specifically looking to connect ZigBee devices, Aqara suggests using their ZigBee products for seamless integration. Keep an eye out for updates, as the smart home ecosystem is always evolving, and who knows, maybe your wish will come true soon! Meanwhile, let’s keep the discussion going and see what creative solutions the community might have!

I’d also would like to have this possibility. Right now my Smart Home consists of Philips Hue bulbs and LED stips as well as a lot of Aqara equiment. Philips soon will force users to create an account to be able to use theirs smartphone app and so it’s time for me managing my lights using another platform.

I know we are able to add the Hue bridge to the M3 but it would be awesome to instead only add end devices.
