Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Homey and Matter bulbs. I’ve been using Homey for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for my smart home setup. I recently added some Nanoleaf Essentials lights via Matter, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they work together with Homey!
One thing I noticed is that when using the “Dim to” flow card, the Nanoleaf lights don’t automatically turn on like my Zigbee Hue lights do. Instead, I had to add a “Turn on” card before the “Dim to” card to ensure they’re powered up. It’s a tiny tweak, but it works perfectly now! The lights dim smoothly, and it’s such a cool effect to have them gradually brighten up or fade out.
I love how Homey makes it so easy to create these flows and customize my lighting scenes. It’s all about that perfect ambiance, right? I’m really happy with how everything integrates, and I can’t wait to add more smart devices to my setup.
