Positive Experience with Wyze Bulbs and Tips for Successful Setup

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze bulbs I received. At first, I encountered a few issues, but I’m happy to say I’ve resolved them and thought I’d share my findings to help others who might be going through the same thing.

Firstly, I had some trouble registering the bulbs with the Android app. I’m using a Pixel 3 XL, so if anyone else is experiencing similar issues, here’s the fix that worked for me: During the registration process, make sure to turn off your mobile data. This was crucial because my phone was trying to connect to an internet-accessible network, which interfered with the bulb registration. Turning off mobile data made the process much smoother!

Another thing I noticed was that to integrate the bulbs into Google Home for use with Google Assistant, I needed to unlink Wyze from Google Home and then link them again. After doing this, all the new bulbs showed up perfectly in Google Home. It was a bit of a hassle, but definitely worth it for the seamless integration!

Overall, I’m really happy with how the Wyze bulbs are performing. They’re easy to set up once you know the tricks, and the integration with Google Home has been flawless.
