Hello everyone! I wanted to share my positive experience with using the Wyze Cam V2 as a dash cam for my golf cart. It’s been a fun project and I’ve learned a few things along the way that I’d like to share with you.First, I mounted two Wyze Cam V2 cameras on the front of my golf cart. I connected each camera to its own USB battery pack, which provided enough power for the entire experiment. I was really impressed with how easy it was to set up the cameras using the Wyze app. The live feed was clear and responsive, even when I was moving around the golf course. One thing I learned was the importance of turning off motion tagging. I forgot to do this initially, and it ended up affecting the video quality. Once I turned it off, the videos looked much better. I also found that renaming my phone’s hotspot to match my home network’s SSID made it easier for the cameras to connect automatically. After the experiment, I reviewed the footage and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. While the video while the cart was in motion wasn’t as smooth as I hoped, it still captured some great moments on the course. I also appreciated that the cameras recorded continuously to the microSD card, which made it easy to transfer the footage to my computer later.Overall, I’m really happy with how this project turned out. The Wyze Cam V2 is a great choice for anyone looking to set up a dash cam, and I’d definitely recommend it to others. If you have any questions or tips, I’d love to hear them! Happy golfing and happy tinkering!
