Positive Experience with Wyze Cameras: A Minor Wish for Improvement

I’ve been really impressed with my Wyze cameras so far. Setting up the Pan V3 and Cam V3 with the Cam Plus plan has been a breeze, and the performance is outstanding. The video and audio quality on my home network is excellent, with only a split-second delay, even while streaming 4K content from Hulu on my TV and high-definition videos on my Android phone. Using the Wyze browser portal on my laptop with Brave browser is a great convenience, especially when I want to quickly check in on my cameras without opening the app. The fact that they don’t time out immediately is a big plus for me.

One thing I would love to see from Wyze is an option to download or save camera footage directly to my NAS. This feature would add a lot of value for users who want to keep their recordings secure and easily accessible. I know there are third-party solutions out there, but having it built into the Wyze ecosystem would be ideal.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Wyze cameras and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, reliable home security solutions. If anyone has tips on how to work around the lack of a built-in download feature, I’d love to hear them!
