Recently, I decided to switch from my previous home security setup to WYZE products, and I must say, it has been a fantastic experience. My journey began with purchasing the WYZE V2 camera, and now I have a total of 4 V2 cameras, 13 cam pans, a scale, and even some bands. Compared to my old AmCrest cameras, the difference is night and day.
The setup process for WYZE is incredibly smooth. While my AmCrest cameras took around 10 minutes each to set up, sometimes failing and requiring a network cable, WYZE cameras were online and ready to go in just 2 minutes. The features are also superior—motion follow and free cloud storage are just a couple of my favorites. Plus, the price is unbeatable, with cam pans costing about a third of what the AmCrest cameras were.
My family has even noticed the improvement. My wife now jokingly asks if I need another camera whenever I visit Home Depot, and she’s genuinely impressed with the quality and ease of use. I’ve had zero issues with any of my WYZE products, which is a relief after the frustrating setup process with my old system.
