Positive Experiences with Wyze and Custom Solutions

I wanted to share some positive experiences I’ve had with Wyze and how custom solutions have enhanced my smart home setup. First, I must commend Wyze for their outstanding customer service. Recently, I encountered an issue with a defective sensor, and to my delight, Wyze not only replaced it but also offered to replace a second sensor if it ever fails. This level of support has made me a loyal customer, and I’ve since purchased additional Wyze products like their cameras and scale.

On another note, I’ve been exploring custom solutions to streamline my home automation. One of my favorite finds is the Hatch Card, a custom card designed for the Hatch Rest device. It combines light and media controls into a sleek, user-friendly interface with customizable scenes. Whether I’m setting up a bedtime routine or a quick wake-up call, this card simplifies everything. Plus, it’s available through HACS, making installation a breeze.

I’ve also been experimenting with geofencing using IFTTT. For instance, when I approach my home after sunset, my garden lights automatically turn on for 5 minutes. It’s a small touch, but it adds convenience and security. I’m now looking into expanding this setup to include more devices and scenarios.
