A smart water station would be great. We had a dumb water fountain for our cats, but it would be great to be able to see remaining water, how often they drink etc.

You’re not going to stop a cat with deterrents. Your better bet is to attract them somewhere else with something more interesting.

I have a dog and bearded dragons. I monitor all my animals with cameras so i can keep an eye on what they’re doing. A dog door would be a great addition to the Aqara lineup as would a thermostat that measures temperature and humidity for the reptile enclosures. I would definitely purchase such products as I rely heavily on Aqara products for my HomeKit setup!

We have two dogs and just use our indoor cameras to track them when we are out. I’m curious about the pet feeder but not sure our dogs would really take advantage of it.

Something I’ve mentioned regarding pets and Aqara before is the FP2. The AI already exists on it to filter out pets, so being able to do the inverse would be fantastic.
Scenario
You leave the house, and the FP2 flips over to ‘pet mode’ through automation.
This allows you to see in real time where your pet is within the home. You get alerts when they go to their food/water, when they’re on your bed (when you’ve told them not to) and if they’re absent for a set period of time you get that ping on your phone so you can check the cameras to make sure they’ve not escaped.
It would work really well for dogs and cats, as we know that they get picked up by presence sensors all the time.

A bacteria detector for water would be very good. If the pet (a cat in my case) drinks from a water bowl after eating tiny remnants of food end up in the water which cause bacteria to grow. Drinking that water then causes bacteria to grow in their mouth which causes bad breath and then dental problems. An alert that the water is system is dirty and everything needs to be cleaned would be very useful.
