Publishing Functions of G5Pro through Matter

Hi,

I have Home Assistant Green with ZBT-2 (Matter Thread Firmware) and Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro. I managed to publish some entities from G5 via Matter, which works great. Fantastic concept!

I do hazel with some functions, probably someone can support me:

Turning on the Spotlight with 100%
Turning off the Spotlight with 100%
Tuning on the Alarm Sound (Police) with 100%
Tuning off the Alarm Sound (Police) with 100%

I just want to control the Spotlight and the Alarm Sound, without any automations in the G5.

How is this possible?

You must create a scene for each action in the Aqara Home app:

  • Scene 1: Turn on the spotlight + Set the brightness of the spotlight
  • Scene 2: Turn off the spotlight
  • Scene 3: Play specified ringtone → choose “Police car sound 1” or “Police car sound 2” and set Volume to 100 %
  • Scene 4: Stop ringtone

Then, under Profile, go to

Connect to Ecosystems → Matter → Scene and Signal Sync → Scene Sync

and add the corresponding scenes to Matter.

If you have integrated the Aqara camera hub as a Matter Bridge in Home Assistant, the scenes should appear there as Matter devices that you can turn like a switch on and off.
