Qubino Flush 1 Relay: Input Contacts Not Functioning Correctly

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on an issue I’m experiencing with my Qubino Flush 1 Relay. I’ve been using this device for a while now, and it’s been working perfectly until recently. However, I’ve encountered a problem with the input contacts (I2 and I3) that I can’t seem to resolve on my own.

Let me start by explaining my setup. I have two Qubino Flush 1 Relays installed in my home, both configured with input contacts I2 and I3 set to ‘Normally Closed’ type. The goal is to use these contacts to detect the status of certain doors and windows. Initially, everything worked as expected. When I physically opened or closed the contacts, the corresponding child devices in the SmartThings app updated correctly. However, after moving one of the relays to a different location, the input contacts stopped functioning as they should.

Here’s the issue I’m facing: when I open contact I2, the app correctly shows ‘Open’ for child device I2. But when I open contact I3, instead of the app showing ‘Open’ for child device I3, it still shows ‘Open’ for child device I2. This is quite perplexing because the setup remains the same, and I haven’t changed any configurations. I’ve tried resetting the device multiple times, repairing the connection in the SmartThings app, and even reconfiguring the parameters, but the problem persists.

I’m at a loss for what could be causing this. Both relays were working fine before the move, and I didn’t encounter any issues with the other relay. I suspect it might be an endpoint configuration issue, but I’m not familiar enough with the device handler to troubleshoot it further. I’m hoping someone with more experience can shed some light on this.

To summarize, my main questions are:

  1. Why is the app only recognizing changes on contact I2 and not I3?
  2. How can I ensure that each contact correctly updates its respective child device?
  3. Is there a way to adjust the endpoint configuration to fix this issue?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to getting this resolved so I can continue monitoring my home’s security effectively.

Thank you in advance for your help!
