Randomizing Sonos Playlists Without Track Mix-Up

Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to be part of this community and to share my experience with Homey. It’s been an incredible journey discovering all the possibilities it offers, especially with flows. However, I’ve hit a snag that I’m hoping you can help me with.

I have a Sonos One SL in my daughter’s room, connected to Apple Music. Every evening, we use a flow to turn on the nightlight and start a playlist of audiobooks. While this setup works perfectly, my daughter has started to notice that the same audiobook plays every night. She’s understandably bored!

I tried creating multiple playlists to add some variety, but when I set them to randomize, the tracks from different audiobooks get mixed up, which isn’t ideal. I need a way to randomly select one of the playlists without disturbing the order within each playlist. This way, each night she gets a different audiobook without any interruptions.

I’ve explored the flows and settings but haven’t found a solution yet. I’m hoping someone here has a clever idea or workaround. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help! Let’s make bedtime more exciting for my daughter.
