Real use case – finally a solution for “difficult” windows

I installed the Multi-State Sensor P100 to solve a very specific (and recurring) problem at home.

I have a small, high window where I wanted to monitor open/close states for security and ventilation. The issue was purely physical: there is no space at all for the magnet required by a traditional window/door sensor. I had looked at other options before, but none of them were viable from an installation point of view.

The P100 solved this in a very straightforward way.
No magnets, no compromises, and a very reliable state detection. Setup was simple and clean.

Since installing it, this window is now fully integrated into my automations and alerts — something that simply wasn’t possible before. For me, this sensor really unlocks new use cases where conventional contact sensors don’t work.

Quick summary:
• Solves real physical constraints
• Clean and discreet installation
• Reliable state detection
• Immediate practical value

Very happy with the result.
Photos attached showing the real setup.

Only thing on my wishlist now: a white color option for this sensor :slightly_smiling_face:
