I’m reaching out to the community for advice on rebuilding my Vera Plus configuration from scratch. After migrating from a Vera Lite, I’ve been dealing with a lot of instability—devices working one day and not the next. My wife has been understandably frustrated, and I’m desperate to fix this before things get any worse.
My plan is to reset the Vera Plus, upgrade it to the latest firmware, and then start adding devices one by one, beginning with those closest to the Vera. I’m dreading the process, especially since I have over 30 devices, including locks. Any tips or tricks to make this process smoother would be a lifesaver!
For example, should I factory reset each device before adding it back? Is there a specific order I should follow? I’m also wondering if there’s a way to automate this process or if there are any tools that could help streamline the setup.
I’m hoping to avoid a complete overhaul, but at this point, it seems necessary. Any advice or encouragement from the community would be greatly appreciated. Let’s see if we can get this system back up and running smoothly!
