Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling with indoor light reflections on my Wyze Cam V3 Pro. It’s been a bit of a pain, but I wanted to share what I’ve learned in case it helps others.
First off, the camera is positioned near a window with miniblinds and light curtains, which I know can cause some reflection issues. I tried a few things to mitigate this, like adjusting the angle using a flexible clamp mount and even building a makeshift cardboard box to block reflections. While these helped a bit, they weren’t perfect and didn’t give the professional look I was hoping for.
I also looked into whether a polarizing filter could help, but it seems like Wyze doesn’t currently offer one for their cameras. I reached out to their support, and they mentioned it’s something they’re considering for future updates. If you’re dealing with similar issues, I’d recommend experimenting with different mount angles and maybe even some DIY solutions to see what works best for your setup.
Has anyone else tackled this problem? I’d love to hear if there are any other tricks or hacks you’ve discovered to reduce reflections without compromising on style. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other out!
Cheers,
