I have a U300 door lock connected to G5 Pro camera hub. Is there any way to remotely view the log and get notifications? The app seems to limit log access and certain settings via bluetooth only. Do I need to set up the hub connection differently or this is an actual limitation? Remote log access works fine with My U100 + G410 doorbell at a different location. If there is no setup issue, this really diminishes the value of the camera hub since I am not planning to add any other thread devices.
@seiggy22 From what’s been shared so far, this looks like an actual limitation rather than a hub setup issue: for Aqara locks in this lineup, detailed logs (and full user management like fingerprints/passwords/NFC) are typically only available when your phone is connected to the lock over Bluetooth, even if the lock is already bound to an Aqara Matter Controller hub. That hub mainly enables remote lock/unlock and automations, but it doesn’t replace the Bluetooth requirement for viewing detailed logs/user provisioning. This is explicitly described for U200 and U400 behavior, which matches what you’re seeing in the app.
So with a U300 + G5 Pro hub, it’s very possible you’ll get remote control, but still need to be near the lock to view full logs—similar to U200/U400.
About your comparison with U100 + G410: Aqara does support doorbell-to-lock linking and one-click unlock for specific lock models (including U100). That ecosystem integration is model-dependent, so it can behave differently from newer Matter-based locks.

If you want, share what you see under the U300’s log page (screenshots are fine) and whether you’re expecting push notifications for lock events vs just log history—those two can be handled differently depending on model/firmware.
I’ve got two U300s and even standing right next to one with Bluetooth on, the detailed logs (fingerprints, NFC, PIN history) only sync while your phone is actively connected over Bluetooth. Also, per Aqara’s own manual, if someone opens it with the mechanical key or the inside handle, that doesn’t even generate a log entry, hub or no hub. So if you’re relying on the U300 for after-the-fact ‘who came in and when,’ plan around those two blind spots."
