Hey everyone, I thought I’d share my recent experience with my Reolink Go PT Ultra SP+ camera. A while back, my camera’s antenna broke, and I was in a bit of a panic because Reolink doesn’t sell replacements. After some research, I found a solution that worked for me, and I want to share it in case anyone else runs into the same issue.
First, I discovered that using a generic Wi-Fi antenna designed for similar cameras worked perfectly. It wasn’t as bulky as the one I initially tried to buy, and it fits seamlessly with my camera. The process was straightforward—just unscrew the old antenna and attach the new one. I was relieved to see that the camera’s performance improved immediately!
Now, moving on to something I’m really excited about—setting up my Wyze v2 cameras. I recently received two of them, and I must say, they’re fantastic. However, one of them had a persistent pink tint in the app right from the start. After a bit of troubleshooting, I realized it was a calibration issue. I followed Wyze’s support guide, which involved adjusting the camera’s settings and recalibrating the lens. It took a little time, but the pink tint disappeared, and the video quality is now spot on.
For anyone else dealing with camera setup or antenna issues, I recommend checking online forums and manufacturer guides. Sometimes, a simple tweak can make all the difference. I’m now confident in my ability to troubleshoot minor issues and keep my smart home running smoothly.
If you have any tips or experiences to share about camera setups or other smart devices, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the discussions going and help each other out. Happy smart home tinkering! ![]()
