Is it possible to give the user the ability to change the rtsp username and password?
The system default are simply too weak and might as well just be off

As far as I know, if you reset the device, this username and password may change. However, you can already access the footage via RTSP only when you are connected to the same network. As an exception, on some modems, it is possible to enable external access via a URL.

It seems these cannot be changed by the user but I think you’re right, the option to change these credentials would be a good thing.

We have received multiple instances of such feedback, and I will carefully consider this request and release an app and firmware version at the appropriate time to support it.
