Hi,
I just purchased two E1 cameras last week with the impression that i’d be able to add them to Home Assistant, but the only way i’ve found was through HomeKit and even then I don’t have the live camera feed in my dashboard.
Is there any way to get the same type of stream or even camera controls as I have in the app? Surely there must be some RTSP stream somewhere that the app is showing to me, which I can then get into Home Assistant…
Any thoughts or ideas?
I have not been able to find a way to add them to HA, Aqara did not add the RTSP Stream option to the camera. I’m sure there is a good reason, my guess is the camera lacks the resources. I’m not exactly sure though I’m only guessing.

I mean the stream is getting into the Aqara app from somewhere, surely you should be able to intercept the stream and also send the movement commands cuz if the app can do it, so should HA, with the right permissions etc from Aqara’s side.
I can see it’s somewhat working, after adding it as a HomeKit device to my HA, there does appear to be some video stream coming in, but it is giving issues.
However if I add it as a card it comes up relatively live and fine, but it does seem there’s some authentication issue going on.
@AqaraOfficial any cleaner approaches?
