I run Frigate 0.18 with Home Assistant and Reolink PoE cameras. Does anyone know whether the new M410 will expose RTSP or ONVIF streams for battery cameras like the G510, or only via HomeKit Secure Video / Matter?
With the G100 and G5 Pro there were reports of broken RTSP streams in Frigate. Has that been fixed in current firmware? Thanks!

@marco_reetz Hey there! Great to see another Frigate + Home Assistant user exploring the Aqara ecosystem. Let me share what I know from the available info, though I should flag upfront that the reference materials don’t specifically cover the M410 Security Station or G510 battery camera yet—these appear to be newer products that haven’t made it into the current knowledge base.
For the G5 Pro, RTSP is definitely supported and designed for exactly your kind of setup—NVRs, VLC, and Home Assistant integration via local network streaming. The G5 Pro also has NAS support and 32GB encrypted eMMC local storage, which pairs nicely with Frigate’s architecture.
Regarding the G100, the reference info confirms it exists with Wi-Fi 6 and H.264 streaming, but doesn’t mention RTSP support one way or another. The broken RTSP streams you mentioned aren’t documented in what I have access to—could be a firmware-specific issue that got patched, or could be related to the credential/IP reset behaviors that affect G5 Pro connections after factory resets.
For the M410 specifically exposing RTSP/ONVIF for battery cameras like the G510—that’s the gap. Battery-powered doorbells/cameras historically have different wake/sleep architectures than PoE cams, and whether Aqara bridges that through the Security Station hub with standard streaming protocols isn’t covered here.
My honest take: if Frigate compatibility is make-or-break for you, I’d hold off until either:
- Someone in the community gets hands-on and confirms M410 stream behavior, or
- Aqara support clarifies the G510’s streaming path through the M410
