Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to reach out regarding a couple of issues I’ve been encountering with my Home Assistant setup and also share a neat lighting tip I discovered recently.
First, I’ve noticed that my Home Assistant Yellow instance has been experiencing random restarts, which is a bit concerning. I recently had to perform a complete wipe and reinstall after some issues, and while I thought everything was back to normal, these restarts are persistent. I’ve checked the logs, but they’re empty, so I’m not sure where to look next. Has anyone else faced something similar or have any troubleshooting steps they could share?
Secondly, I’ve been trying to connect a Minibase Chime doorbell to my system, but it’s been a bit of a challenge. Despite enabling 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on my router and following the setup instructions, the doorbell still won’t connect. I’ve tried resetting it several times, but no luck. If anyone has successfully integrated this or a similar device, I’d love to hear how you did it!
On a more positive note, I’ve been experimenting with Govee LED light strips, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my setup. I love how customizable they are, especially with the RGBICW technology that allows multiple colors at once. It’s really helped set the mood in my space, whether I’m relaxing or hosting friends. I’m curious if others have similar setups or any creative ways they use their LED strips.
