Seeking Advice on Z-Wave Device Connectivity Issues

I recently encountered a puzzling issue with my Z-Wave network, and I’m hoping the community can shed some light. I’ve been using Z-Wave devices for quite some time now, and they’ve been a reliable part of my smart home setup. However, lately, I’ve noticed that one of my Z-Wave locks isn’t updating its status information properly. The app keeps showing a message saying, ‘This device hasn’t updated all of its status information yet. Check again later.’ It’s frustrating because I can’t control the lock through the app, which is a bit concerning, especially since it’s a security device.

I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps already. First, I checked the firmware on both the lock and the Z-Wave hub to ensure everything is up to date. Surprisingly, the firmware on the lock was outdated, so I updated it. However, the issue persisted. Next, I attempted to reset the lock to factory settings and re-pair it with the hub. While the lock did re-pair successfully, the same problem resurfaced shortly after. I’m starting to wonder if there’s an issue with the drivers or if there’s some configuration I’m missing.

I’ve also considered the possibility of interference in my home. I’ve moved some devices around to see if that helps, but nothing seems to make a difference. The lock works fine when I use the keypad, so it’s definitely a communication issue rather than a hardware malfunction.

I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues, especially with Z-Wave locks. Have you had any success resolving connectivity problems like this?
