Seeking Advice on Zigbee Network Configuration

I’m currently in the process of setting up a Zigbee network for my smart home, and I’m encountering a few challenges that I hope the community can help me with. I’ve installed a Zigbee gateway in my basement, which is where my HA server and main router are located. However, I have three access points covering different areas of my house, and I’m wondering if connecting a Zigbee gateway to each access point would allow them to function as a single network under Home Assistant.

From what I’ve read, Zigbee is known for its reliability over Wi-Fi, but I’m not entirely sure how to ensure seamless communication across multiple gateways. I’ve attached a simple diagram of my current network setup for reference. If anyone has experience with this kind of configuration or can provide guidance, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Additionally, I’ve heard about the benefits of using multiple gateways for better coverage, but I’m concerned about potential interference or redundancy. Is there a best practice or specific configuration that ensures all devices communicate effectively without overlapping issues?

Thank you in advance for any insights or advice you can share!
