Seeking Recommendations for Replacing Homewizard Energylink

After years of reliable service, I’ve decided it’s time to replace my aging Homewizard Energylink device. The unit has served me well in monitoring my P1 meter, solar panels, and water consumption, but it’s clear that the manufacturer has moved on, leaving users like me in need of an upgrade.

I’ve been researching alternatives and have come across several options, such as Plugwise and Youless, but each seems to require multiple devices to replicate the functionality I’ve grown accustomed to. My ideal replacement would allow me to monitor electricity and gas via the P1 port, track solar panel output through an existing kWh meter, and measure water usage—all in one device.

I’m particularly interested in solutions that avoid vendor lock-in and come from manufacturers with a strong track record of support and longevity. Has anyone here successfully transitioned from Homewizard to another system? I’d love to hear about your experiences, challenges, and any tips you might have for ensuring a smooth transition.

Thank you in advance for your insights and recommendations!
