Hello everyone! I’m really excited about upgrading my living room lighting and have been eyeing RGB downlights for their versatility and aesthetic appeal. Currently, my setup uses a Sonoff device for basic on/off control, but I’m eager to dive into the world of customizable lighting with RGB options.
I’ve come across a few models, such as the Crompton Spectrum RGB Halo Downlight, which seems promising but is quite pricey at £50 per unit. I’d love to hear if anyone has experience with similar products or can recommend alternatives that offer great performance without breaking the bank.
Integration with OpenHAB is a top priority for me, as I want seamless remote control. Additionally, I’d like to keep a traditional wall switch as a backup, just in case the smart system ever goes offline.
