Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I’m reaching out to the community for some advice on selecting smart bulbs for my parents. They’re not very tech-savvy, so I want something easy to use and reliable.
I’ve been using Philips Hue bulbs and Lutron switches for a while now, and they’ve worked great for me. But my parents are looking for something simpler. They just need four white bulbs and two wall switches in one room. No need for fancy features like scenes or voice control—just on, off, and maybe dimming. And since they use iPhones and iPads, I need something compatible with iOS.
I’d prefer not to have to use a separate hub, as I want to keep things as straightforward as possible for them. I’ve heard good things about some brands, but I’m not sure which ones would be best for their needs. If anyone has experience with simple, reliable smart bulbs that work well with basic controls, I’d love to hear your recommendations!
