There is a serious bug for the aqara H2 dimmer switch and it’s been a whole year without a fix.
The switch will randomly flash to full brightness and then go to 0 or very dim, and never recover. In the app it still shows the light is on and at previous percentage brightness, and adjust it to brighter will work, but it will basically be completely off at the previous percentage.
For example, in the screen shot pf log, it shows i turn on the light at 5:02 at 54% brightness, after an hour and 20 mins, suddenly the light flashes and went to very dim. i check the app and it shows lights still at 54% brightness, and i start to adjust brightness and it does respond, it just seems now it starts around 54% as 0, and 100% still 100.
also why is there a 1% brightness in log? i don’t have any automation that set it to 1%…
This happens on four different bulbs in different set up, zigbee and thread all happens, so i don’t think it’s issue with light bulb.
