Hi everyone, I’m looking to set up an outdoor motion sensor and light using my Homematic system. I have a CCU2 and I’m planning to connect a 24V motion sensor to it. I’ve heard that the HMW-IO-12-SW7-DR module is a good option, but I’m not entirely sure. I also want to connect the sensor to a light that will turn on when motion is detected, especially in low-light conditions.
I have a few questions:
- Which Homematic module should I use for the motion sensor?
- How do I connect the sensor’s outputs to the Homematic module?
- How do I set up the automation rule so that the light turns on when motion is detected and it’s dark outside?
- Are there any safety precautions I should take to protect the Shelly module from moisture or potential shorts?
