It would be great to create sections for ideas, suggestions, and help. Also, a FAQ section for Aqara devices and an FAQ for automations and how they work. So people could describe or understand whether their automations are responding correctly. I have a lot of questions myself, and it seems like something isn’t working, but then it turns out the function works differently, for example, with timing. I thought it would turn off within 5 minutes if the voltage dropped below 10 watts. But it turns out that if this action occurs within 10 minutes, it will trigger immediately, but after that, it won’t trigger.

Hello, I am publishing automation 2.0 lessons, you can read and ask questions, I am always happy to help. Automation 2.0. Lesson 1. Introduction

Hello, I also described this in lesson 2. This parameter delays the check in “IF” conditions, I took an example about movement. In your case, this is the power of the socket 5W in WNEH (the timeout of the check that you set to “period”), after this period, this socket is checked for 5W.
Fig

But understand, this delay can be used for another “IF” check (not only sockets), for example, changes in humidity (temperature), if the humidity “IF” does not drop during the period that you set to turn on the additional heater (fan). I think you understand that the second example is not about 5W but about a higher power.
It is impossible to consider all cases of automation for a separate device thematically. The field of creating these automations has no limits, it’s like every artist (artist) writes his work the way he sees it.
Our main task (Aqara) is to ensure the reliable operation of your “creations” within the Aqara devices and other supporting brands. As well as quick assistance to you and troubleshooting of the malfunctions that you have found.
Sorry for the long speech🙂

Yes, the point is, if I plug in the outlet without plugging in the device, it trips after a certain amount of time. For example: WHEN the power is less than 5 watts, THEN turn off the outlet after 30 minutes. But if I was using the device, even after three hours, if the power drops below 5 watts, the automatic circuit breaker immediately turns it off. Although, in theory, it should only turn off after 30 minutes.
I understand perfectly well that the delay can be used for different purposes. Testing it on the outlet is the easiest way.

It’s just that to achieve this condition I have to create 4 automations instead of one.

Sorry, I can’t understand the algorithm. Please make a screenshot of the automation that doesn’t work the way you want.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are now working on this. We will launch a new section that showcases outstanding forum content organized by category.
